I'm picking up gold ore now that I've gotten to Fluorescent Fountain, and I see there's gold bars on the FM, so I'm wondering if anyone's had the chance to use the tools yet. I'm wondering if they follow Minecraft logic or not. That is, stronger than their equivalent tool, but with much lower durability. So basically, is their durability better than (at least) lorium as well or is it just a speed increase? Trying to decide if I even want to pick up the recipes but the level 1 requirement and the wolf minecraft of it all makes me hesitate.

I know it's a longshot since I think I'm one of the first to even get the ability to mine gold, but if anyone knows, it'd be much appreciated. I'm not rich enough to buy 1mil pebble recipes for science and I spent my event tickets on lorium wheels.

I've used a gold pickaxe; it lasted many trips despite the faster rate so I'd guess all tools follow the higher rarity = faster mining = higher durability pattern.

Yeah I bought the gold wheel and gold pick from the mining event shop and both are still at ~80% after a number of trips. The speed increase is pretty noticeable too. It's nice. I'm hoping this will help me speed through some mining levels so I can open the next mine soon.
