I don't know if she's quite the right colors, and I'm not willing to sell her entirely, but I'd let her be borrowed! https://www.lorwolf.com/Play/WolfDetails?id=13371
(She is a kit and currently very fox-like but could be modified?)

If you have less than 5 level 10 wolves on your account, I will give you a level 10 wolf for FREE! Just PM me or check this thread: https://www.lorwolf.com/Forum/View?id=10869
@Moonlitfox I am not OP, however, I would like to say, having all four colors in the brown range, instead of having top and under in greyscale range, would probably be more ideal for both an easier time finding mates, but also for buyers to be able have an easier time finding mates as well(that is, if the goal is to spread maned wolf bracchs, not sure if that's the point of the project)
I personally think, acorn-caramel-bronze base, seal-chocolate-ebony accent beige-oak-sand-oyster under, seal-chocolate-ebony top, would be a great combination for both emulating maned wolves while also making finding mates easier for other players.
example demo
I have a pair that has the potential to produce something close except not having the right base(but still a brown range base, just on the pink/red side instead of the orange/yellow side of it), I'd totally be willing to give away a pup from them for this project if once comes along!
oh clawbreakers this thread got really big when I wasn't looking!!
@Poe hehe gotta love those eyeburners!! and I think I found the fruit bat volmyrs you were talking about but idk if the colours are close enough unfortunately :( assuming I saw the right one; could u link me just in case?
@Steven looks like someone grabbed him, but thank you for offering! might be a stretch far for breeding just at the moment but I'll keep em in mind in case we need!
@SovereignFives oo that is close!! definitely will keep him in mind if we need a larger gene pool to help with breeding long term maned wolf spouses!!
@Moonlitfox I'm. in shock. your message made me choke on my water when I read it. oh my god, that would be WONDERFUL, I'm so glad we could have a scroll for this project!!!! (and I say we cause I'm not planning to profit off of this, I just want the funky doggies out there and I'd totally throw myself into endless debt to you for it) thank you for even offering!
NOW! here's the hard part. @SovereignFives has a very very good point on potential future mates being very hard to find for any pups sold from this breeding pair.
The ideal colors for the most accurate maned wolf would in my opinion be:
Black Accent: White Under; Brown-Orange Top; Black maned or Brown-Orange timber Base.
However, due to the color wheel, trapping the first two colors in greyscale does spell disaster for future breeding.
Instead we could do, as suggested:
Ginger-Peony Under; Brown-Orange Top; Brown-Orange Base.
I'm not currently fully sold on the non-black/midnight accent, as I do believe that the black legs really does add a certain charm and we'll only ever probably get the one bracchus for this project and it would be nice for them to be as accurate?
although again when it comes to long term population, it really does make it harder on the mate finding.
(my bsc zoology teachers are going to receive some,,, interesting messages in the morning.)
@Coop7011 oo he's pretty! I think the Browns are all correct but the cream is in the yellow range? still, with sovereigns kit, maybe we could find a middle ground! it's 2am here, let me try to work the pup predictor in the morning to see if they can get us a closer pup!
and thank you everyone for the interest so far! let me know if you want to be pinged once the pair comes together!
@teethbared- Hmmm I don't see any in the market right now… But I've seen a few in the Discord, so might just have to keep an eye out for Baby Batches!
@teethbared
Haha you're fine! Thank you for complimenting my progen gal. I wasn't going for maned wolf colors exactly as I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep or sell my scroll, so they are more reversed in colors so when you plug her into the demo she's black with orange markings instead of orange with black markings.
I know back in beta there were a lot of Bracchus on classic maned wolf coloration so just keep an eye out for puppies. Good luck on your endeavors though!
I'd definitely want to be ping if a pair comes together! or heck, even updates on the progress for it! This is an awesome project!
@teethbared hi! i don't have anything to sell you, but i wanted to share some inspo for colors? i made this pair for fun during beta. good luck! maned wolves are beautiful. some of the wolves in the pics i used for reference had dark feet like a fox, i tried to recreate that in the male.
Only pup I got close to your project is my lupin boy. I don't have much know how into LW color breeding. Just trying to help.

@teethbared As much as I like the cream color I don't care for the banana and yellow colors nearby as Under. I think I'd prefer the ginger - oyster range…???
And I do prefer using the black/midnight accent although I do see the brown value - say pecan - mocha? Of course, just to make things tricky, I have a young female pup who is black - oak - bronze - acorn.
@Lunar LUNAR HOLD EVERYTHING COULD U HOLD ONTO THAT PUP THEY MIGHT BE ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!
