Two questions.

1) The rules only make reference to copyrighted material. What about material under Creative Commons licenses? Are those considered differently or in the same manner as copyrighted things?

2) The rules mention that copyrighted material cannot be used or referenced. By referenced, doesn’t this then mean inspirations or inspired by since the copyrighted material is what the CA is being based off, even if it’s not exactly the same? If so, then why does this thread mention that we can check inspired apparel or even do inspired apparel?

@AngelSami Hi, it's under Creatures! Humanoids would not be allowed. We're looking to moving it out of Creatures and further up into the rules for better clarity.

@TimelordSnowy A broken chain on the leg would not be allowed as it implies that the wolf has been imprisoned at some point. Thanks for asking!

@Alestrius Stripe on the forehead and the tail tip would be enough as it is not a direct replica of the cozen pattern.

@Fleetguy You will need to change the shape language slightly of the item. You've already added new colours, a new tail bow and it doesn't copy the iconic coloured tips of the slyveon. If you could change the tips at the end of the ribbons, that would suffice.

Second question: One glitch apparel uses pink and blue to soften the contrast, only showed two lines contrasting, did not have glow against dark shading or use gradients to darken the wolf fur. The combination of glow on dark colours, the shadowy markings making the red and cyan pop around the original wolf lineart is what pushes it over into eyestrain territory.

Consider using less contrasting colours to soften, removing the harsh glows on the dark markings and perhaps moving the two contrasting lines closer together so there's no third wolf outline.

@Quiche Would just the head stripe be enough? I was looking at the Dark Points CA for comparison and it seems to have a muzzle gradient, which was part of why I was looking at the forehead stripe as a more subtle way of doing it. (Also, just checking on whether naming it "Faux Cozen" is allowed or whether that was another issue I should be looking into a rename of.)

Thank you for the feedback! I can definitely see why the shape language may still bear too close a resemblance; would a spaded tip like this be acceptable instead?

Other ideas I had would also be similarily sharp instead of split and rounded ends!
