this happens when i accidentally press undo in the middle of the fishing minigame, when i come back to fish again, i get way more ripples than you're supposed to (you should get 12-13 ripples in backwards brook) and some ripples give ominous empty boxes that actually dont give anything but fishing xp. i couldn't get screenshots of the box since the popup when you fish them disappear too fast, but i have this
im on firefox, though i dont think this is a firefox-only issue (off-topic notes: is the game getting me the lost xp that i accidentally refreshed over? that's nice :) )
