The current system for getting guaranteed WWs is feeling a lot better, however- I think a nice change might be to have the hunt reward you with an item that you can store and spend on specific dates, etc- or sell to other players. This wouldn't change much outside of making it so that your accumulated efforts and hunts can be redeemed whenever you want rather than having to be redeemed on the spot, and then after the 30 minutes.

The item could just be as simple as a non-lore item called a wolf summoner or something, or it could be some fantastical item like a special howl stone or something that gifts your wolves with some mystical howl that can invite a wayward wolf to your pack!

Maybe that's just a personal preference, but I thought it was worth a suggestion!

I can support this because i was personally hoping that we would be able to rack up enough knucklebones for stuff like mass hatches on FR, where you could just befriend a ton of wolves for things like a specific date, special ids hunts, and just a fun little ‘mass befriending’ thread. the hunt taking 30 minutes, and only having so many slots makes it limited and prevents these fun things from really happening. overall, i enjoy the system, but i would have like a ‘summon’ or 'instant' befriend' much more.
