Some sort of Long-Dog type Lorwolf, any sort of Borzoi/Greyhound/Saluki looking creature
Black-backed Jackal!! They are so Triangular

Markings:
An Under marking that on the face resembles common cartoon depictions of deer, fox, squirrels, and other woodland creatures where the light mask of fur goes over the eyes, usually reaching the point where “eyebrows” would be drawn, covering most of the face, and allows a line of uncovered fur to reach down to the nose. It is actually surprisingly difficult to describe this with text even though it's a very common marking on cartoon animals haha.
“Tint” Accent that will cover entire wolf with a certain percentage of transparent color. Ideally both helping out a failing color scheme and making a wolf look more simple without having to double up on colors
In terms of breeds, I wouldn't mind something… fantasy prehistoric? Akin to a Direwolf/Sabertooth combo thing, bordering more fantastical hybrid, the image in my mind consists of a stocky direwolf (sturdy legs, barrel chest) with nice long canines like a Saber. Leaning into it, more of a longer, cat like tail (maybe with a droopy fluff of fur off the end of it).
The puppies would 100% remind you of lynx cubs, with the huge paws for them to grow into.
Perhaps a soft rosette/spotted gene pattern to complement it
Russian wolfhound Pixel Block Wolf (Funny, I know) Horse + Wolf A Wolf small enough to fit in a pants pocket. The Wolf who lives by the sea There doesn't seem to be any mention of tech or steampunk here, but that's the Wolf I want. I like long, soft cats with legs that can fly, even wolves!
