Support, support, support! There definitely isn’t enough of an incentive to release wolves right now. And an easier access to knucklebones that doesn’t rely on WW encounter RNG would be very much appreciated!
I guess I'll be the odd one out and say I'm leaning no support. Definitely no support for you to get a guaranteed knucklebone with each release, and somewhat-neutral-but-leaning-no for a rare chance at one. We don't know where knucklebone prices will settle yet, but if you got a guaranteed one for each released wolf they would have to be cheaper than the cheapest wolf. Otherwise why would anyone buy just a knucklebone when you could buy a wolf for cheaper, and get pebbles, a knucklebone, and a ticket all in one? This also seems like it would make them FAR too easy to get compared to the campaign, especially in the inevitable future when wolves to release are plentiful and cheap.
I would much rather see the pebble payout for releasing wolves made more worthwhile. I'm also fine with adding a rare chance at a MS shard and ticket. This still makes releasing wolves valuable, but doesn't diminish the value of knucklebones and the time put into the campaign to earn them. You can use the pebbles you earn releasing wolves to buy knucklebones from other players off the flea market. Different playstyles grant different resources, and this helps encourage trade between players and a healthy economy.

Support! If a 1:1 Knucklebone:Released Wolf feels ‘unfair’ then even making it a CHANCE would drastically improve things- maybe a pool of loot for a wolf to “leave behind” when they leave would be wise? As in, a chance at a Knucklebone Token, or Moonstones, or event tickets, etc, would greatly improve the odds of people actually releasing wolves; which might come in handy later on, in the case of population booms on the site.
Disincentivizing breeding on a pet breeding sim is just foolish. Quite a few people that play games like these just want to see what happens when they throw things at the wall, and trying to incentivize “clever breeding” instead of making offloading unwanted wolves more rewarding can only delay the inevitable problem that leads to these sorts of mechanics being required in the first place.
Releasing wolves needs to be incentivized way harder than it has been, and the earlier this happens the better. Being skittish about people “farming” rewards leading to their inevitable decay in value is distraction.
Support. At least for the “higher payout for higher levels” as well as “a chance to get something extra (knucklebones, ms shards, tickets)”. The later doesn’t really need to be a 100% thing, especially looking towards the future where “fodder” will likely grow in numbers and a guarantee does not sound as necessary anymore. But that’s just my personal feeling, I would not mind a 1:1 either.
Right now the incentive to release a wolf is just low to nonexistent and that’s rather unfortunate imo.
