Browser: safari on an iphone

I am having an issue getting purchased arena animals to merge. It seems I can only merge them if they are a) in my active team and b) buying directly. If they are not in my active team, or there is a slot open, or I try and use the ‘merge’ star button, nothing happens

What do you mean by the merge star button?

If I have more than one model purchased that are the same level, and I tap one, the other one had a grayed out Star symbol on it. I presumed that tapping the star symbol would merge the two models and give me a higher level model, or that they would automatically merge, but neither of those things happened.

Don’t you need three in order for them to merge? I’ve never manually merged them.

I hadn't tried that before, but I'm pretty sure the stars aren't intended as a button. When I play the Arena, my animals always merge automatically if there's three of the same kind. And by that I mean

1-star echecara + 1-star echecara + 1-star echecara = 2-star echecara

2-star echecara + 2-star echecara + 2-star echecara = 3-star echecara

maybe that was my problem! I assumed that it would use 2, I guess. I’ll test it and see if that helps at all

oops.. im a little late to this.. the arena creatures (ill call em companions) will merge when you have 3 of them of the same companion and star level, example: 3 1 star colpaches will merge into a 2 star colpach. the merging will be done automatically, so if it aint merging, then something might be wrong
