Honestly, the changes to campaign are the most frustrating for me. Why were the food options needed? There was literally no reason for that besides frustrating and annoying your users. Plus making the boss battles extremely more difficult. I get they're bosses. They're supposed to be hard. But now it's impossible to beat them without an almost full party. If you're going to make them that hard, the xp you get needs to be higher. You still only get 3xp for winning. So the fight is harder, for no additional rewards, which just comes across as you looking to punish your players for no reason. its infuriating and ruins the enjoyment of campaign.

I appreciate the update to the WW scenario!

However, I don't understand the food nerf? I've been grinding for the last 20 minutes or so, and I've yet to encounter a moth/isopod drop. As a grinder for both trinkets to sell/WWs, this is absolutely frustrating to me. Food stores only last so long, and it's incredibly frustrating to attempt to build them back up with the food nerf.

I appreciate listening to the user feedback, but I'm not really understanding this nerf in general?

EDIT: Actually, looking at the first area (Barboa's Slough) the moth/isopod encounters aren't even listed anymore? NEVERMIND, I misread and now I understand. They are only in the 4th location now, not the other places. I'm stupid, don't mind me. * ^ u ^

I appreciate the changes in cooking and acquiring wild wolves. I don't get why you reduced the amount of food dropped in campaign though. Are you going to introduce more food encounters to make up for this in the future?

suggestion: in the case of a wolf fleeing cuz your den is full, could it be possible for the player to earn more tokens? i feel like if the wolf had all the intentions of joining you and you just played yourself by having a full den, they might give you a “ok but feel free to call me anytime!” bonus. its the worst feeling when that happens xD

thanks for all the effort with the changes!

(In advance, I went on a bit of a rant here whoops, I apologize. I just want to preface this saying that although I'm a bit disappointed I'm not trying to be rude and I apologize for anything that comes off that way. TLDR: 50 tokens is too much for a single wolf in my opinion, it should be changed to 20 or 25, not sure how I feel about it being a hunting mission to get a guaranteed WW, and more clear communication in the future in general would be really appreciated.)

...50 tokens? For one wolf? Nevermind it being 100 initially, but. Please tell me each WW gives more than one token (I have,,, no motivation to try grinding to test it out myself ^^') because after about a week of heavy grinding closer to launch, I still have only ever seen a total of 76 wolves. Meaning that if each WW gives just a single token, I only would've earned... 1 extra wolf. After a week of grinding probably about 2-6 hours a day which is pretty intense for me.

I'm genuinely sorry if this is rude, but I'm very disappointed right now, I have to be honest. I've already been playing less the past few days just from burning myself out, but... this honestly makes me want to play even less. Especially with the food nerf. I enjoyed campaign as a way to kill time, but... I don't know. I hoped the WW tokens would make me more motivated to grind, but with how many are needed it almost does the opposite :c I really hope you reconsider how many tokens it takes to get a WW, at the very least - 20 or 25 would feel alright to me, still keeping it rare but also. Actually obtainable.

It also doesn't quite sit right with me that it's a hunting mission, meaning you have to take at least one of your other wolves off of doing other hunts and spend food getting their energy to full if it's not already, on top of the token + pebble cost, and it would also take a hunting slot I assume? I don't know how long the hunting mission takes, but even if it's super short I feel it might be better to be able to use the tokens from the inventory or something, still with the pebble cost, instead of having to do a hunt.

Also, I can't help but notice a bit of a lack of transparency on this update? Like saying “More details on this will be going out during our June development update, so stay tuned.” about a new essential gameplay feature, and “Updated Terms of Service” with no information on what was updated. Maybe this is just me but I feel like this update may have been best as a development update too - it doesn't need to just be one a month after all, and this is pretty major so I feel like it would be best as a proper dev update and not just patch notes?

Again, I really apologize if any of this is rude. I know there's been a lot of critique over this update but I really want to say that it's just because the players want this site to succeed - I know that's certainly how I feel! I just feel unsure about some of the changes made and about the lack of transparency in some things, and I want to see those things improve so this site can grow and live up to its full potential. <3 I promise I'm not trying to be insulting or anything, and I really do appreciate all the hard work that's gone into this update and the site as a whole. And one last thing… the change with cooking auto-selecting the max amount of items is extremely appreciated, so thank you especially for that shsdhsd :']

To be honest, the meat icons drawn by your team are very, very amazing. They have a kind of food aesthetics and temptation that makes me stay. But I noticed that after the update, many types of meat became the same after cooking. To be honest, I am a little disappointed, but I understand that the development team may not have that much energy? Anyway, I think this is an artistic expression. As an individual, I don't want them to become the same thing. If possible, will there be plans to update icons in the future?

Maybe there will be some rude expressions here, but this is because I am using translation to express my views!

I really like cooking! What can be cooked is wonderful! I can't play any games without cooking!

The WW update is something you'd expect if it was really easy to encounter and/or befriend the ww in the first place, which it is not. I am extremely disappointed in this change.

Like many others, I am delighted to see something being done about WW encounters, but also like many others, I don't think this is what we were expecting. The WW are valuable because of them being gen 1, but it's extremely unlikely to get one with desirable colors. The most WW I've encountered per day was 3, but that was only one time. I think that what we wanted was simply increased rate of success, not more grinding.

It's going to be especially frustrating for those who don't have much time to grind since a lot of the activities require to manage timers and energy, so the food nerf, especially in early areas, was a poor decision. Many agree. There were certain battling quests that I simply couldn't beat due to my wolves not being strong enough, even though the quest is accessible to me. Quests that are given should be possible to complete without the need for extra leveling at the time they are given. They should be your level. Lack of food will prolong this exp grinding for newer players.

Overall, the update doesn't seem very satisfying. More grinding being added to games is usually with the intention to push players to purchase more premium currency so they can just buy things and bypass it. I hope that this isn't going to be the case.

The cooking additions are wonderful, thank you guys so much! Its nice to be able to immediately dump in the max amount of food I can. The knucklebones are also a great addition, and I’m glad to see that the WW encounter rates went back to normal.

However, I’m very displaced by the food nerf. What was the reason for it? Stamina is the most essential resource in the game I believe, and you need it to do almost everything except like cooking and crafting. Why would you need to decrease food drops and make it more difficult to keep our wolves fed? Especially since the stamina recharge rate is still the same.

Overall I’m very mixed about this update, and it seems that the staff genuinely listen to the playerbase so I’m hoping me and everyone else worried about food will get an answer.
