I have been grinding after the update and really hate the food debuff. The main point of the campaign, after telling a story, should be gathering items, but now you can no longer support one wolf with the food you're able to gather, let alone your entire wolf pack. I don't understand why the change here was by such a drastic amount.
I do sincerely want to thank you for changing back the WW encounters though. That would have been a dire experience if you had stuck to that choice. This is a very positive change, and I hope that you continue to listen to player feedback to allow the site to properly flourish.
Thank you for the quick response to all the feedback! I know you all care about player feedback and it shows.
I have been grinding and something I found was the Vespen encounter in GS3 is now impossible to beat, at least for me, unless you have a full team of wolves at the highest level. I don't think adding the backup and putting their level to 14 is fair to us trying to make money for food and such.
I don't want to just say negative things about this, so I'll end with this; I love those site and will support it in any way I can. The response to our feedback was very quick and right on the spot. I'm still testing, but the food stuff seems okay? I'll keep testing and report back. Thank you guys for listening and loving the game as much as we do.

I'm glad to see how swiftly player feedback has been taken into account. <3
Although, I'm still concerned about the food drop nerf - food is required for almost everything, and the main source of it is from exploration. Farming would be a good alternative, but it's pretty much impossible for a casual player to do sustainably due to how much babysitting it requires. And getting the food items to get the NPCs to babysit your crops… requires exploration… which isn't sustainable via the food it gives out. :|
I'm glad I stockpiled as much as I did, but it's not going to last beyond a few days, if even that much. And fishing is just staring at a still image waiting for ripples, which I can't imagine being fun to grind for most players. I can't manage doing it more than a couple times a day, and even then it's incredibly boring. A more fun/engaging fishing mechanic, or just putting it on a timer like mining and sending a wolf off on a fishing trip would probably make it feel less tedious. But overall, I feel like the nerf really should have waited until there were alternate food sources available through gameplay that were sustainable for casual players.
However I am very nervous about the food reductions - if it cannot even sustain the energy of a single wolf, then that will severely discourage my gameplay since campaigning is my favorite thing to do, and leveling up in the professions will take an obscene amount of time if I can't regularly top off their energy from the food I gathered while campaigning.
Thank you so much for the swift response and fix, this is SO much more reasonable and beneficial while still keeping the wws from flooding the site. Hugely appreciated!
