This is similar to the “Communicate with us” thread, apologies for that.

But changes are being made live with no actual announcement for days, and this is unusual. The patch for pebble sales stacking higher than 99 went live before the patch was announced. Two letter names became legal- and a smaller change was the announcement banner being toggleable. Perhaps there are other changes too, but nobody is being informed about this from any official source.

Two letter names specifically should have been announced- because people could have potentially been scammed by this change, thinking these now legal names are still bugs. Plus, this is an exciting change! I'm certain people would like to know about this!

And if important things are being tweaked live, it would really help if we could see what it is or be warned somewhere so we understand what's happening. If they're not important enough for their own post or are very minor, just keeping an updated log in the patch notes forum would be a good start.

If these changes aren't ready to announce, then perhaps they should not be added to the live game and should instead be bundled together in larger scale patches- and exciting stuff can be announced to be coming soon- similar to how the achievement system was teased.

They also changed cooking so if you grab the ingredients from your ingredient stacks (not the recipes), it auto populates the quantity to the highest possible amount. That's a change that should really be announced, its a big QoL update!

Yeah, LW could stand to adjust their front page a little to accommodate something like this. Flight Rising has their Site Status sidebar where they put these sorts of small updates, and LW could do the same thing.

I'm guessing that they're gonna put it together in one update! Though I would love a little box like FR has, fr also occasionally changes things and then announces it later in the day , for example sometime new genes are available in the scrying workshop and items are added to the database before the announcement.

I do think things like the 2L thing should have been announced right away though so no one accidently bought a wolf thinking it was valuable because of the 2L name. But I'm not against things being changed over a few days and then announce in one post.

Support. Leaving players to find these things out ourselves is pretty poor communication.
