great thread! I haven't really read anything in a while due to lack of time/interest, but I did pick up an old Doctor Who book earlier this week and so far I'm enjoying it! it's called “The Menagerie” and while it is a little slow (it's a Classic Doctor Who story, pacing was slower in the old series), it's been a very enjoyable read so far and I'm especially fond of the intricate world building. it's got a decent amount of names to keep track of, though, so I wouldn't recommend it if you have trouble telling characters apart.

That sounds great! I haven't read anything much lately besides fanfics. I have a few witchcraft books that I am planning on reading as well as a book I got in a blind date with a book.

oof, I know the “only reading fanfic” mood. I've been in an “only writing fanfic” mood, tbh… but I should be reading more so I can improve my writing, haha.

I am 50 books through my goal of 100 for the year. I may need to make my goal bigger….

smol update on my reading progress; did not finish the doctor who book yet, but I've made good progress. gonna probably finish it tomorrow. so far I really enjoy it, giving it 4 stars because there is a lot to keep track of and it's a little overwhelming at times, but I finally got to the part where it's all starting to come together

I tend to have many books going on at once. I am bad at keeping to one story at a time. My family used to question how I could do it, but they have grown to not question me.
