I've been grinding the Campaign for HOURS. Hours and Hours on end, trying to get some more Lorwolves. I've gotten the Wild Wolf encounter at least 12 times now, and failed all of them. Does one have more chance for succeeding than the other? What are even the odds of it succeeding? It won't work at all it feels like, and It's a bit upsetting.
oof @SleepyStarri i feel you man same here. The odds are supposedly around 1 in 10 from what ive seen; but you should definitely try refreshing the page instead of explore again if you're not doing that- i got 6 encounters since morning, though no befriends!

I only keep the numbers for my wild wolf recruiting service, but it seems my rate for wolves brought home vs. wild wolf encounters is a, surprisingly, clean 12.5%.
It's definitely incredibly low and can be frustrating…sometimes you get super lucky, sometimes it takes a while! Some wolves I got in under five encounters, others pushed twenty.
overall i've encountered 150-ish, and befriended 15 of them, but the other day i also had over 50 encounters with no wolves (': haven't really grinded for them since
it's quite disappointing, but wild wolf tokens are in the works (getting x amount of tokens allows for a free WW), so you could hold out grinding until then! that's what i'm doing anyway lol
Terrible but not so bad that it should be taking as long as you describe.
Usually I can get one in an hour or two. I always use the top option, but that's more out of convenience as I have heard they both have the same odds. I refresh anything that is not one click to get the item or wolf. Sometimes I also go through the caves searching for trinkets.
Don't worry, we're in the same bad RNG boat. I've gone through roughly 25 encounters since starting here and NADA.
@food for ww encounters the best is the second sword of any area (I like ice cause the battle there gives u salmon) though you might run out of food much faster.
the first sword area (best is currently zanthous cause the discover something option doesn't use stamina) gives you moths and other food, plus trinkets to sell, making it better for farming plus the chance of ww.
third sword area gives you more trinkets and bosses, but I have to use two wolves to fight the battles, which take up more food.
From the different data I've seen from other players and myself. WW encounter seems to have an occurrence of 0.2%. (from the different sources, 0.33 at best, 0.16 at worst). Then the change getting a WW coming with you is around 10%. So you may get a WW coming with you once every 5000 encounter, so a chance of 0.02%.
But we are talking big number here. Your own experience may vary greatly on a smaller number range.
