Welcome to the Great Farming Data Collection Thread!
Have you ever wondered what the range of crops you can get from a single harvest is? How about what crop gives the most food points per harvest, or what gives the most food points per minute? Is feeding Tiny and Bigs really worth it? (Yes!*)
Well, then, you've come to the right place…eventually!
See, in order to answer these questions, we need data from farming harvests! Lots and lots of data. I've been collecting some data on my own, but the amount of time it takes to grow crops means that, under my own power, it's probably gonna take me months to get a good sample size, and since there's no way to decrease your seed familiarity level, I'm also just outta luck for crops I started leveling before recording my harvests.
And that's where you, my implied reader, come in! Many paws make light work, and there can't be too many farmers in the fields for this one. If you'd like to lend a helpful snout to my efforts to figure out everything there is to know about farming, here's what we need from you!
If you've planted a crop AND harvested it with full water and compost bars, please ping me in this thread with the following information:
Crop: (crop name goes here)
Crop yield:
Seed familiarity level: 1-5
Any seeds? If so, how many?:
NEW! You can also submit your answers to the above questions in this Google form!
This data will be added to the spreadsheet so I can run analyses on it and figure out everything! I'm aiming for at least 20 recorded plots of each crop at each familiarity level so I can make ~graphs~.

* In terms of stamina, feeding Tiny & Bigs is very advantageous! Feeding Tiny & Bigs either requires 2 Pumpkin Pies or 3 Crunchy Rainbow Bug Soup. These food items give 60 stamina each, so it'll either cost 120 or 180 stamina to maintain your fields for 12 hours. In 12 hours, you can plant and harvest 36 plots of corn. Assuming you get the worst possible yield of 5 corn every time – which you won't, because the compost and water will boost the output you get from the field – it'd take only 8 plots of corn, or 80 minutes/an hour twenty minutes, to get more stamina in food points than you spent.
