I'm very choosy with my friends lists and like to keep them small. I'd like to be able to disable them so I stop getting random ones.

I have a lot of personal anxiety over this sort of thing since I've had bad interactions across other sites to the point it's the first thing I put on my profile usually, since I pretty much only like to accept friend requests from users I've interacted with before.

Being able to toggle it off or at bare min being able to set it to “ignore” therefore marking all friend requests sent your way as "read" or at bare min, blocking the new message notification when they're sent would absolutely be a nice feature to have

Alternatively, I'd like to have a “silent” mode for message notifications in general to avoid seeing alerts on new messages as I can see them getting fairly annoying to me in the long term in their current state.

Bringing this back because despite requesting no friend requests be sent in both my profile and signature, it is very much not being respected at all. It's worse than FR despite the significantly smaller playerbase. Please give us a disable.

Yeah I only like having people I know irl to be on my friend list but declining them tends to hurt people's feelings, so I'd very much prefer just not even giving people their option to get their hopes up for it
