I have now discovered, after a few days of joining, that 10 ripples appear in fishing… every… single… time. I don't know about fishing levels 12+ quite yet- so correct me if I'm wrong. But, I think it would be TOTALLY cool and exciting to have a very rare event happen during fishing where maybe 5-ish ripples appear at a time. That way you get surprised and it's a nice little break from waiting for one (or the rare two) that are expected. Obviously it would be very difficult to click all 5 of the frenzy, per se. But that would be the point- to excite (and add variation) and possibly pick up another 1+ fish every now and then (if you are fast enough).

As it sits, after observation, each 30 seconds is a mandatory 5 ripples appearing. So it's just a little bland and leaves me aching for a random variable.

I can say that in the lv12 area thereare 13 ripples.

While I'm not sure about a surprise frenzy (considering most will be missed therefore not adding much apart from stress), I would like it if, as you progress in experience (level) the amount of ripples you can get increases.

Support! There's something kind of like this in FFXIV while ocean fishing and it's sooo fun.
