Newbie Tips and Important Guides!

This guide is NOT Finished, but you're free to add stuff to it! I don't imagine I'll need more than 10 things for a basic guide, BUT, here we are!

First of all, welcome to the site! I'm happy to be able to show you around!

To start with, I've been here since EA and was here first day of launch, so I sort of know what's happening, but I'm only one person who knows so much. You're welcome to ping me with more tips if you know what you're doing! /lh /gen

Here are a few tips to start with!

  • Use only one wolf in the campaign. I know it might be tempting to use both of your starters, but your food supplies will not last like that.
  • You can do all the campaign quests without joining that pack! I know in particular there's an area in Darkspite that's hard to beat because of the Vulpitica(?), Icerun's is MUCH easier.
  • You can still go mining without copper tools, they just make everything faster. You can get copper without copper.
  • If you decide to start farming for food (which isn't greatly useful at the moment), set timers for a minute or two before the crop is done. This way, you can come back to it and fill it all the way up right before it's ready instead of checking in constantly.
  • Cooking fish is the best source of food, I advise you to fish whenever possible as it's much more efficient than berries and moths, etc. whatever else you can find in the campaign.
  • “Activities” are your best friend. Pay attention to them! They're a very good source of pebbles.
  • In the mole market, when it refreshes every six hours, you can claim a free item! Always do that, if possible. Even if the item you get is useless, you can sell it and turn a profit!
  • I do NOT interact with the arena so unfortunately I have no tips for it, but here's a good guide with a good bit of basic info!
  • At time of writing, WWs (Wild Wolves) are very difficult to get your hands on. You are more than unlikely to get one. I'm still 0/15 in wolves I've gotten/encounters I've had, but a lot of people get lucky.
