(Forgive me if this has already been posted, I couldn't find an extant report)
I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but it's a bit odd to me that every tier of pick/wheel increases the required mining level for it, except for the Gold Pickaxe/Wheel, which can be equipped at level 1 despite (to my knowledge) gold not being able to be obtained at that level. I don't think this is a browser-specific thing, it'd be a database one probably (if unintentional).
Gold used to be available at level one during the first round of Beta (I remember this well because it got annoying at times) at a very low rate. This might be from that and it was never changed for some reason, and those two recipes did exist before the armour, so that tracks.
