I've unlocked my cart's max capacity of 30 ore and am only at the Spooky Spires, and already the mix of copper, iron, and silver is limiting how many bars of anything I can smelt, if I don't play the game of “manually remove the ore, one by one, and dig some more” to get everything grouped into fives. And if each higher level brings with it an increasing variety of ore, this is going to become even more frustrating. Especially so, for those whose carts are not maxed out!

So, I'd like to suggest that the cart's max capacity be increased to 50, to help accommodate the mix of ore a little. This suggestion would pair well with the one for lowering the cost of expansions or offering pebble prices (at least for mining, anyway), as the new expansions can either entirely be priced in increasing amounts of pebbles, or mostly priced in pebbles with just a couple being cheaper moonstone prices.

Unlocked Growling Grotto a few days ago, and I'm dying from the mix of copper, iron, silver, mithril, and the occasional lorium. Oh, and of course, the odd ms shard thrown in, now and again, as well.

And while I'm glad to have found out that copper finally stops dropping at Fluorescent Fountain, that doesn't really help much.

Support only if current expansions are changed to pebbles. I don't mind further ones being MS, but the ones we have now are basically required for mining if you don't want to be forced to drop stuff to be able to mine at all. You can very, very easily fill up your cart and not actually have enough to smelt any bars starting from Growling Grotto if you don't expand. It was happening to me with an expansion.

And higher level locations just unlock more. Fluorescent Fountain removes copper, but adds chaosium, gold, and fluorescent gemstones. The gemstones only need one to smelt, but the gold sits there forever because it's so rare.

I will always support this! Additionally, I also think that what might help is if you don't drag unsmelted ores back and forth with you, but rather drop them off at the furnace, to be smelted once an increment of 5 has been reached. (I have a more elaborate QoL and balancing suggestion floating around somewhere on the forum that touches upon this and some other aspects of all professions; things like unlocking extra slots every once in a while when levelling up)

I also firmly believe that those expansions really should be pebbles. Imagine having to do this with a cart with only 15 capacity. You gain a huge advantage by expanding your cart, and that should be accessible to all and not just those who can throw money at a game.
