Banks with interest can actually hurt the economy in the long run; if people are keeping their money because they earn daily interest, then they're not spending it, and without money moving around, the economy can stagnate.
I can support this aslong as there is a cap to it and a reasonable one. As the person above me said too much of a good thing can be a bit of a downfall.
So let's say the max interest you can get is 1k a day and you have to have like 100k in bank(or 10k for 1mil though I think that's pushing it) I could get behind that. But if interest continously stacks and you can have 200mil in the bank earning you 2mil a day… it creates a major problem.
(Alternatively I would like somewhere to store pebbles and MS regardless.. because I have little self control and if I see it… I will spend it. Need an out of sight out of mind bury my pebbles mechanic lol)
I find the idea of having a place where we can stow away our MS and Peebles to be very useful (for the same reason Kekoda brings up), but agree that their needs to be a limit on how much interest is earned/if we earn interest at all.
Personally I kinda hope LW implements a system similar to the vault in FR. Not just for money, but for items as well. The interest part can work maybe, but having a place to store stuff I feel is at times necessary in these types of games.
