I recently found myself working on a breeding project where 95% of the generated pups look EXACTLY how I was hoping, but because the range of their under covers two hues, occasionally these soft, pastel babies have BRIGHT, NEON MAGENTA countershading and I since I'm a ~lineage snob~ the thought of having an awkward pup on an otherwise meticulously bred pair makes me wanna cry.
On the other hand, some of the possibilities are just… SO. GORGEOUS. ;_;
