one of my frustrations with the WW encounters is that the fact that's there's two options implies it's 50/50, as if it's one or the other, but based on player data, that's not the case at all, it's more like 1/10.
@Kokichi hey, pro tip, you can do other campaign areas that aren't your starter pack! It won't force you to join- It's easier to level your main wolves up in other areas where you don't have to fight five enemies at once, and the devs are working on an update to make the wild wolf encounter problem less prominent! I hope this doesn't scare you away from the game, but it's entirely understandable if it does- I originally joined Darkspine back in early access and I also had this problem, but I was lucky enough to get a WW on my first try. I've had 14 encounters now in the official release and still no WW, I bought the only one in my den.
it is quite frustrating. One thing you can do to pad out your numbers is include companions in your party. They don’t need to eat but help fight as long as the wolf they are equipped to is in the party.
I find it helpful to use a companion with healing (green plus sign) if the wolf I’m using doesn’t have the skill.
