The thing is I am hoarder. I like to find myself nice looking item and just hoarding it as many as possible. The problem is, if it is food I just can't find a way to not eat it automatically while feeding my wolves. I am talking about for example those beautiful moths…I don't want to eat them!

@Sowenia go to your den, and either above or below nana (depending on mobile/desktop layout) choose “manage auto feed”. you can select and deselect items to be autofed, so you can save those moths!

You can manage your autofeed from the Den, so you can set the moths to not be autofed when you feed your wolves!

FYI re: hoarding en masse that there does appear to be a limit that you can only have 100 of a given item in your inventory at a time and as far as I know, there isn't any “vault” or “safety deposit box” mechanic.

Is this true to only specific items? :O because I have almost 800 glowing mushrooms in a stack and over 100 of one type of cooked fish in a stack as well as others that go over. Did there used to be a limit and it's changed since or is something else going on?

It seems to be the case with at least some trinkets. Even after hours of grinding, I never end up with more than 100 of the little succulents and such, so I assume there's a cap.

Though I do wonder if that's unintended behavior, especially for such specific items, unless the devs have already said otherwise :O maybe it's worth looking into if they haven't?

Ok, upon further investigation, there doesn't seem to be a cap on how many of an item you can have. I have 108 succulents right now. What I was seeing was that you can only sell up to 100 items to the vendor at a time. So I think you can hoard to your heart's content.
