I was trying to see if I could hide my otherwise perfect besprinkle project's awful base with genes and here are my findings…
Volmyr Male / timber under / merle top BOOM even gives them eyeliner! Vol female slightly but it shows more of the base on the wing arm

Ay, nice find! I've also found that you can hide a top color pretty well with Brush / Merle / Maned, and here's some extra jarring colors to prove it more:
But on most wolves with not extremely different color schemes, it works pretty well!

@Dracowolfie ohhh yes! I had forgotten about that, that trick made me not regret an impulse buy! this this case I used brush for a concentrated flower patch in a melting snow tundra effect.
