Ruining Lorwolf (cursed ideas)

Welcome to the cursed Ideas Lorwolf edition thread.

What is this? Just make up horrible features that would ruin the game! have fun!

-Profession level is tied to individual wolves, if you want to change a wolf for a profession you have to level it all over again

-Wolves can get sick now! Nothing serious, just a cold and other things like that, but you can't have them do activities until it's cured. Also medicine is really hard to get and it takes them a long time to heal on their own.

-Wolves who don't place in the pageant get a LOSER necklace.

-Corn quota, if you don't harvest at least 50 corn per day tiny the boar will randomly eat your crops for the rest of the next day.

-Mole has 24 hour cycles now.

-Wild wolves have to acclimate their new pack before they are able to do any activities, you have to make them feel welcome during that time to they may decide to run off!

Wolves now have a favorite food randomly chosen from the list of all available food in the database; feeding them anything other than their chosen food regenerates zero stamina at all ;)

You know what they say about knocking on random doors asking for Chaos…

…eventually, he will answer.

Just ask Korvo.

stamina takes a freaking long time to regenerate. feeding food does not give stamina but will help regenerate faster instead

This is based on something that I thought was a site feature but discovered that it was not…Imagine you actually have to see the patterns of the wild wolves that you encounter when you encounter them. Imagine getting a double or one with really matchy coat colors and watching it reject you. I literally thought that's what ww hunting would be like. If it was I would never recover LOLOLOL

i would unironically buy a LOSER necklace for my wolves

also i was just thinking about rebel's idea the other day, that would be so funny and heartbreaking at the same time

anyways here's another: wolves that hit a certain age will no longer be able to breed or work. enjoy ur pretty paper weights while you go get more wolves!

(i think this is an actual thing on other sites and….is a bit of a reason why i don't play them)

@Bungalow oh my god yeah I hate when my pets can basically age out of their usefulness…It takes the appeal away from collecting them sdlkfjdslkfjdslkfj

Anyway I just thought of another terrible idea: Some WWs make you fight them to prove your worth before joining your pack. They are the hardest fights in an area and they can't be beaten with just one wolf + a companion

The Fishing areas now have a set population for each species of fish- if the community overfishes then that area is no longer accessible until someone pays to restock the pond- and we have to wait for that specific breed of fish to repopulate…..

If you catch an endangered fish your wolf's fishing license is revoked and it can't fish for the rest of the day.

Oh- another one!

Safety Gear for the mine! We need to maintain our helmet, gloves, vests, boots- they all have durability too, and they're all separate.

@Lai oh my god and I would also imagine that you can't tell from the water ripples whether the fish you catch is endangered LOLOLOL that would be a nightamre

Also, have an even more cursed idea to ruin WW searching. Each player-owned wolf has a Charisma stat that influences the probability that a wolf will come to your pack in the barking/tail wagging stage of an encounter. High Charisma means a higher chance to get the wolf, low Charisma means that the chance of convincing a WW to join can dip below 1 out of 10. Your wolf's Charisma is completely secret with no real way to find it out or prove the score to a prospective buyer. Also, a concerningly high percentage of wolves have zero Charisma, which means that if you have them in your party you will fail every WW encounter. Once again there is no way to find this out other than going based on hunches about how often you get WWs with certain wolves in your party.
