hi everyone! my name here is seattle, and i'm one of the new players that've only joined at launch! :p
i feel like i might be one of the few people here who didn't hear about the site directly through another petsim (like FR or CS) or through a friend. i'm pretty sure i happened upon it when on one of those “sites like X" pages, where it was one of the few linked that i'd either never heard of, or just overall thought looked nice visually! right after the launch delay too, so about a month ago now.
and while i'm not new to petsims, i've never been there around the launch of one, and i don't have any recent experience with the most similar sites. being here is incredibly new and exciting to me! i'm primarily an LD player, with distant, long-ago FR experience, if that says anything ^^
as for things about me… i'm a hobbyist artist, mixed bag ‘gamer’, and work out of home at the moment. some of my bigger current interests include warrior cats (though i've been meaning to read the newer books for… years now…), the original CSI tv series, honkai star rail, and shadows of doubt (the indie detective game released sometime in april/may)! i'm also trying to become someone who can use google/xcel sheets, html, and css proficiently, though progress is slow LOL
i've never written an intro post before, and generally don't tend to talk in forums anywhere, so i hope this is okay and wasn't too long! i really enjoy LW so far, and i'm looking forward to watching it develop + possibly/hopefully getting to know at least some parts of the community :)
