i could be wrong, but i’m pretty sure there are no limits out side of the cooldowns the wolf has. during beta when the cooldown was very low people kept breeding the wolves to see if there is a limit, and afair, no one found any. id say it’s safe to assume there’s no limit.
as for the sex change, you can continue breeding it but it’ll have to be the opposite gender. for example: if wolf was originally female and swapped to male, you’d have to breed it with a female
edit: i just realised i read the second question wrong, but yes you can swap the gender as long as the wolf isn’t expecting !
