Another fun little forum game. I'm sure plenty know the concept but incase you don't- all you have to do is add a sentence to the one above you and keep the story going!
I'll start-
Once upon a time there was a fox who found itself far from home.
The delicate package needed to be delivered as soon as possible before it was too late.
The coursing rapids beckoned them, their song so alluring, who could resist?
The wolf tore their eyes away from the bone-white waters and, with the river's song roaring in their ears, they frantically looked for a way to cross.
With great caution they gently placed a paw on the bridge, it held firm..they then placed another paw and another.
EDIT: I forgot, it was only supposed to be one sentence! Sorry!
