My friends and I have wondered: How often are you allowed to bump up your own topic in sales? (e.g once a day, twice a day etc.?) or is that unlimited?
As for leveling up; Wolves are easiest levelled (passively) by equipping a cheap xp-awarding companion (basidio or kuzma). You can play with them on the hour and once the companion is lv10 they reward anywhere between 5 and 29 xp. I often equip pups with these companions so that they level up, and they are generally between lv7 and 10 by the time they grow up.
For companions, the quickest way to level them up is by using them in the campaign. To speed it up you can use 2 copies (because they will both gain xp seperately, but towards the same level-progress).
@Grass they slowly replenish over time. There is no way to increase it instantly or manually - you will just have to wait. (There is a timer visible that will show you when they'll get +1)
As you level up your farming, the maximum amount of compost and well water you can have at any given time increases too, by 1 for each level you gain.
Oh and by feeding the farming NPCs some food (what they want changes after an hour) you won't have to continually apply compost/water to the crops you have growing.
