@Purple Bug The point of campaigning is plentiful. You can get items, such as food and raw materials. You get pebbles and trinkets that can be sold from the inventory. You gain xp for both wolves and companions on the team. Companions reward more the higher the level they are. Plus, like wolves, they get stronger if they are a higher level (which can be useful for boss fights in the campaign, for the gauntlet and for certain hunts). Wolves can be released, where each level rewards an additional 1k pebbles, and at lv10 you even get a knucklebone token. You can get wild wolves through campaigning, or, if you fail, you get a knuclebone token which can then be used to hunt for a guaranteed wild wolf in the hunting profession. Loads of stuff to gain from campaigning, even when there's no quest active.
As for how long you have to wait; as long as the rest of us at it is simply not released at this time. It takes quite a bit of resources in terms of coding, lore writing, and new art assets to get a new chapter out, so that's not something that'll be done nilly wiIly or every other month. We've been waiting for a new chapter since May last year and it'll probably take another while before it is released.
@IceFlame44 You can switch out your active party, but there is a cooldown involved. In the campaign and gauntlet, the cooldown is 15 minutes. For fishing and mining it is 24 hours. To switch them out, you have to wait for the cooldown to be over; a small x will appear in the top right corner of wolf card of that specific page. Clicking that will remove the wolf from the selection and allows you to select a new one.
As for making pebbles, apart from the daily quests/activities and selling stuff, other ways are:
1. playing with companions - there are a bunch of pebble-awarding companions. Especially the cheap ones (like furlog deer) are great to help build a steady income. The higher the level, the higher the rewards they give.
2. Some scenarios in the campaign award pebbles as well. Mostly the boss fights, which do require a solid team to defeat them
3. Releasing wolves gives 1k pebbles per level. So at level 3 you get 3k, at level 5 you get 5k. At lv10, in addition to 10k, you also get a knucklebone token.
4. Some higher level hunts also reward treasure, although these are generally with worse odds (and might be a waste of time, stamina and food..)
5. The gaunlet awards 100 additional pebbles per level. And especially with how long it takes it's not really a steady stream of income, but might help when you're just starting out.
6. The arena also awards pebbles to those placing in the top 3. Again, time-wise not a worthy investment, but if you are just starting out and have the time, it could be worth a shot.
7. Achievements also reward pebbles (as well as moonstones and special apparel), so check back regularly. And it might be worth to specifically go 'achievement hunting' for some of them, as they might require a certain type of gameplay that you wouldn't naturally do.
And I think that's all of them.
