@ClockworkMoose

You can mine small amounts of gold in Fluorescent Fountain. Also a little Chaosium.

@RavenMagic oh interesting and good to know for the future! I can't mine at FF yet, so I didn't get my gold bars from there, they were probably from hunting like alphaeon said. But if there's a small chance at gold in FF, that's fantastic that I won't have to grind all the way to the deep deep before I start collecting gold!

@ClockworkMoose Woohoo!! That's the first time I've able to answer a question instead of asking xD

It's a long trip from FF to the furnace, and hard on wheels. I drop the items I don't want to get a better chance at making better bars and finding gems. I get plenty of mithril for wheels and pickaxes; not enough lorium bars to upgrade yet.

Are the puppies chosen from the four you generate or any possibility in their breeding pool?

@Vespur The 4 generated pups you see when breeding two wolves together are just a preview to give you an idea of what they might look like. The colours, genes and breed of the pups are generated the moment you click to birth the nest, and unrelated to what the preview showed.

I'm really new so I apologize if I missed anything 😅

I have 2 big questions as of right now, I tried to find answers but it seems I'm just a bit oblivious. Im kind of just winging the game

1.) I campaigned 4 pack territories to the points of saying I completed chapter one. I can't figure out how to activate more quests? Im assuming there's a chapter 2??

2.) what do I do with level 10 wolves? I've leveled quite a few to that point.

@ExistentialOwl No worries! I personally think some of this info isn't too easy to find, so it's not that werid you were unable to find it.

1. While they definitely plan on releasing new chapters, currently chapter 1 is the only one that is released. So if you do the campaign now, it is mostly to gather specific materials, try to get Wild Wolves, or earn xp for wolves/companions. (As a fun side note, the idea is that each chapter raises the level cap. So with just 1 chapter, lv10 is the cap, but once chapter 2 is released, the level cap for both wolves and companions should rise to lv20.). As of now there is no news on when the second chapter might be released..

2. It mostly depends on what you want to do with the wolf itself. Wolves that I don't want to keep myself I usually release at level 10. When you release a wolf (using the little tree icon next to their name) gives you 1k pebbles for each level. But at level 10, in addition to getting 10k pebbles, you also get a knucklebone token. Those tokens can be used in the hunting profession to hunt for a guaranteed wild wolf.
Oh and the very first wolf that you release each day, regardless of level, also gives you a voucher for whatever weekly event is going on (currently that's cooking).

You can also try to sell them, although I have no idea whether they'd fetch significantly more being level 10, and how quickly they sell so personally I don't bother with it.

Doing giveaways for other newbies is also a possibily. The choice is yours really. I tend to just release them all to earn my pebbles and knucklebone tokens.

What are trinkets for?

Always take care when walking alone, lest you meet those monsters in the woods. They look beautiful at first (like snow), but then you see their too long faces, their all black eyes. And you hear their garbled words, spoken in sing-song voices. Like a parody of you.
It's really such a terrible thing to know.

@HowlingWind A bunch of different trinkets are used in the Hunting profession as a requirement to embark on specific hunts. Others are worth a pretty penny and can be sold from the inventory for instant cash. I believe there is a guide floating about that has a list of which trinkets have a secondary use, and which are safe to sell.
(Personally I don't sell, because what if a new hunt or an entirely new profession is introduced that requires trinkets that were unused before! So I just hoard everything just in case, lol)
