Hello! I asked this on the discord but some users suggested I post this here as they didn't think it was a mechanic, but rather a bug. Can someone please clear this up?
Is it intentional for males who are put up for stud that are NOT bred that are taken down are sent into a cooldown?
I just pulled my male off, he did NOT breed, and now he's on a 7 day cooldown??? I was going to adjust his stud price.

males get put on cooldown when he's put up for stud, whether or not he's bred or not. i dont know why.. squint
Huh. I wonder what the rationale for the mechanic is because I would think the trigger/in-code flag should be the breeding itself… not being on the stud market. That is, assuming their intent is to keep people from breeding males twice. It would still get the job done/prevent that from happening.
