As it is, a wolf's breed can't be changed with a scroll while they're on any kind of breeding cooldown, even after pups are born. Meanwhile, genes can be changed even while the parents are still expecting. I assume that this has something to do with variable cooldown times, and maybe it's just harder to code? but I feel like wolves should just keep whatever cooldown they had on, and breed changing shouldn't affect that.
It's not necessarily an issue that would come up a ton, but it is a bit of an annoyance!
