Yes! I personally also think that the items should be able to be distributed among the wolves. For example, if I have only one 25 stamina food item, and I feed it to a party of 5, to me it makes sense if they all get 5 stamina, rather than 1 getting 25 and the rest nothing. Even more so if they for example all have 97 out of 100 stamina, and you click feed all. Currently it feeds all of them a 5 stamina food item, wasting 10 points. When feeding three 5 stamina food items distributed among all 5 would have sufficed. Currently it feels as if autofeeding wastes a lot of food and it is such a shame and inconvenience too.
