It's really rough needing to wait 12 hours to take a companion off of a wolf, especially if you want to trade/sell the wolf
I think we should be able to take a companion off a wolf at anytime and just have that one particular companion grayed out and unplaceable until the playing timer is up

100% agree. i don't see the point to locking a companion onto a wolf. if it's greyed out in the inventory, like you said, it would give the same effect while freeing up the wolf
Support. It makes hunting difficult if you can't change out companions, so I've been avoiding patting.
Agree. I found it weird when I couldn’t. Maybe its to prevent bonding with all and switching them on one wolf but honestly why not? i just wish you could play with them once a day instead of them all having separate cooldowns.
