Feel free to not prioritise this question because it was just a funny thought I had. (Though could be problematic? I have NO idea :') )
So usernames are allowed to have spaces- at least I saw someone with spaces in their name, and it suddenly got me wondering-
The ping system DOES work for these users with the spaces, but what if- for example….
My name is "Cat"- I join a forum for, say, sharing your favourite wolf from someone's den.
The user after me pings me, their message is “ (ping)Cat I love this wolf!”
BUT it turns out there is a user called "Cat I love", or even "Cat I" so do they get pinged instead, when it was really just the user telling “Cat” that they love their wolf? This has been haunting me, I would love to know :'D
