I'd like to bring this back to the front & get more eyes on it again; I think it would be a super valuable addition to the game at this point!

I don't think it'd be too limiting to new players anymore --if that was ever really a threat to begin with, and I don't believe so-- if someone isn't willing to put up a stud for anyone but their friends, not having the option isn't going to make them give up the idea and just list a dog for open stud, they'll either just not bother to put it up at all, or they'll have to go with the risky option and have someone send a dam to their lair or send a sire to someone else's... And while that has worked fine for a lot of folks, it's also just a completely unnecessary risk for both parties when it doesn't need to be!

Quite a few games have launched with this option in place, so I think LW could stand to keep up with the times and modernize this process as well at this point. Call it part of a project to modernize the whole Flea Market, there's been a ton of fantastic suggestions for QOL upgrades that it desperately needs as a whole. >:P
