Bumping this because these changes really need to be made. If someone pinged you, it should take you to the exact post where you were pinged! On that note, you should be able to link posts, clicking on your post history should take you to your post, and you should be able to delete your posts within a thread. I really don't like how everything just take you to the top of the thread and you have to go find what you're looking for.
And the pings disappearing into the void once you acknowledge them is pretty frustrating. We need a ping history so bad.
Please, do this! I keep getting pings for sales posts and not being able to find the most recent update or where I was even pinged because there are so many pages. And if I can't respond to the post right away, the notification is gone and I have to manually dig through the sales forum to find it again. I have missed out on buying multiple wolves I wanted by literal minutes because of this. All of this is just general QoL stuff that would make it both much easier and much less frustrating to interact with the site.
