Definitely in favor of the single slot randomizers for reasons already mentioned here, but I'd also say if they are deemed ‘too easy’, then I'd like to throw my hat in with the idea of a Base color randomizer for pebbles like the eye one, as well as a total color rearranger/reorderer also for pebbles. Leave the Besprinkler at its current price for a total color makeover, but then have these two (and the eye 'sprinkler) along with for a much-needed pebble sink to compliment it.
The combo of using a Besprinkler, rearranging all colors, then changing eyes and base colors until players can find something workable for whatever lorwolf they're working with would be fun and still challenging with being RNG-based. We'd have opportunities to alter our woofs, while still working hard for it putting in the time grinding pebbles or buying/selling them in the Flea Market.
Breeding projects may be preferable for some, and that's a perfectly valid playstyle! But there will always be special IDs, birth dates, lore/challenge wolves, glitched wolves, and WWs people simply cannot replace. Players who choose to keep these wolves shouldn't have their playstyle entirely locked behind premium or be stuck with quite frankly ugly and unworkable color combos (which CANNOT BE HIDDEN) because having the opportunity to change them with even a tiny bit more control would be ‘too easy’. :/
