At least currently, if you navigate to the front page, the news section requires scrolling past several things (including advertisements) in order to see it.

Also, there are no dates present on the news, nor any option to view older news there or a link to the news/updates subforum. It does not appear to have a header saying ‘News Section’ either, so it's not entirely clear that it is an updating feature connected to the news posts in the forums.

If possible, refining the front page news section would be an incredible help to players, especially new ones who are not necessarily familiar with forum based games, and may not know to go to the forums to check for things such as dates to news posts, older posts, and things like that.

Voicing support for this - I didn't even know we had a news section on the front page since I never bothered scrolling that far down.

Definitely support for making the news more specific, but I assume the launch advertisements will go away after a little while once the launch hype dies down, so I'm not too bothered by it right now.

On this topic we should get notified when news has been posted, though! I didn't see anything and saw the new post by chance.

@Ninetales I certainly expect the launch advertisement to leave soon, of course! But still, having the Discord as well as social media links and ad space above the News post will likely still be a lot to scroll past.

And I absolutely agree! That sounds like a great idea, actually! I know that Lioden does this!

Support, I went looking for news and couldn't find it.

Support! Right now it's incredibly easy to miss any news if someone doesn't know/remember to look for them.
