i checked that the ores are all copper, but they seem to refuse to smelt

reopened browser, logged out and relogged, closed all lorwolf tabs, refreshed, does not seem to fix anything and the copper's still just sitting out of the furnace

have you tried clearing your cache? it's a little far-fetched but it might work

I've also just encountered this issue. 10 slots used, most of them copper, nothing is smelting now.

I’ve been experiencing this too but it’s not just Copper, iron also refuses to smelt. Really it seems to be any ore in that first row that won’t smelt.

I just got this bug with iron. I have 3 silver and 6 iron still in my mine cart, I'm at the furnace but my wolf is chilling and not smelting.

Been encountering this issue with all ores for the past month or so off and on. I think I first started getting this issue after reaching Growling Grotto, but now that I'm at Fluorescent Fountain it is much worse. About every third or fourth cartful of ore runs into this issue. :/ The only way I've found to work around this is to throw an ore out to force it to refresh/recheck the cart, which isnt always a reasonable fix (like having the smelter stoked, so throwing out one of my 4 remaining ores that make a bar defeats the purpose). It's happened both with and without stoking the smelter, with and without moonstone shards, and with every ore available up to FF. It's happened with more than one bar left to make, as well as on the very last one. There doesn't seem to be a trigger that I've noticed for this to happen.

It would be nice if we could at least force it to recheck the cart when it hiccups like this. It's extremely frustrating being forced to frequently waste energy and tool % due to this issue.
