I’ve been defaulting to wag tail, but is it a bad option?? I’ve encountered 10 wild wolves now and all of them have been fails, I read a guide saying that the chances are a 50/50 between wag tail and bark, have I just been super unlucky…?

please help if I’m doing this wrong!

You have unfortunately just been treated poorly by RNG, I'm not sure if it even effects the outcome, and if it does then the chance is still very low. I've gone hours without success, you're not doing anything wrong!

@ToxicTarantula Hello! Both options are just flavour text and have zero affect on if the wolf will befriend you or not. There is just a 1 out of 10 chance that you will befriend the wolf, it does not matter which one you choose.

I've been defaulting to bark a greeting, and 20+ encounters later, I've yet to befriend a wolf. 😓 I was worried that maybe wag tail was the better option, but after reading this thread, I feel better knowing there isn't a bad choice, just bad luck. 😅
