I'll Support this.

Since getting new wolves is highly reliant on Encounters at the moment, it would be nice to have a warning before exploring, or an ability to buy new slots when successfully befriending a wolf while having no slots.

Since the Exploration mechanic is used for food, materials, activities, etc. It's not an easy thing to have to purposefully avoid just so you don't miss a Wild Wolf because you don't have the space and can't afford it at the moment.

Coming back in to say that if it doesn't already, getting a successful WW encounter when your den is full should give you 50 KBT. 50 tokens doesn't even equal one wolf, since you need an extra slot and pebbles for the hunting mission so it's the bare minimum to give the 50 tokens.

Excellent point brought up by minim! I can’t imagine the anguish I would feel if this happened to me. ^^; Seems fair to give the full knucklebone amount for that.

Just had this happen to me. :(

In this scenario I would suggest either creating a "Expand your den?" popup (prompting the player to spend pebbles) or, alternatively, at least rewarding the player a knucklebone. I succeeded only to get neither.

Support! either a pop-up when you go to click on 'bark' or 'wag' saying "are you sure because you have no open den spaces" or red text above the buttons saying "WARNING: no open den spaces" or anything along those lines would be wonderful.

losing a WW feels so heckin bad, man

I just had this happen to me too! I've been grinding for MONTHS to get a WW from Darkspine specifically and it just felt like a gut punch. Once I list wolves for sale, I feel like they aren't in my den anymore, so it's hard to remember that half my den is full of wolves for sale.
