I've been staring at this topic since day one, not sure if I should reply.

I'm still in the processes of figuring out if this is something for me.

I've always had a interest in anything witchcraft related since as long as I can remember. My mother always says she thinks I was a witch in a previous life and killed in the Salem witch trials because I've always been afraid of fire. I used to laugh it off but the older I get the more I feel connected to every witchy thing I come across.

So I guess this is just me telling myself this is the right path for me :)

I myself love doing divination work, and hope to work with herbs (As well as flower meanings!) in the future!
Unfortunately I'm not as invested in it as i was a few months ago :( Continuing to stay self motivated is super hard! Guess it was a good thing i found this! Might get into it again lol.

Hello! it is nice to see a small section for this here. I am a practicing witch of 6+ years and I focus primarily in crystals, herbs and divination.

Glad to be here, @Rowan. :) I have used tarot & oracle cards combined for about 4-5 yrs, pendulum for 4 yrs, and currently studying Elder Futhark Runes to start doing rune readings, and also bone readings. ^^ I am Norse Pagan, and I study runes since they can be very helpful even in every day life. I keep a bay leaf with the rune Fehu on it in my wallet to attract wealth <3

I have 2 pendulums that were gifted to me, I have yet to use them. I find myself worried about subtly influencing them so I haven't done much with them. Do you have any tips for using them? Elder Futhark Runes are amazing, I love working with them. I actually have made bind runes and drawn them on myself for protection and other things. I also have a few necklaces with them on them that I wear. I do not know why I haven't thought about the bay leaf in the wallet yet! I do have a money bowl, well I used to I can not have one where I am living right now, and I write Fehu on a bay leaf and put it under a candle inscribed with it as well as the center of my bowl.

Crystal wise do you have any in particular that you carry with you? I almost always have amethyst and rose quartz on me. I also tend to keep Tiger's eye as well. My mom recently bought me a lot of crystals and crystal chips for my birthday and Christmas/Yule. I believe it was 2 years ago. She saved up money and got me about $300 worth. She was my biggest supporter when I came out as a witch. She actually dipped her toes into the craft many years ago, but with the way, people around her were she didn't get too far. She just purchased a set of witch's runes and I bought her an oracle deck that she wants to start working with.

Back to crystals, which is your favorite? If you can pick that is. I love clear quartz due to its versatility and rose quartz because she has been such a help in my self-love work.

I love herbs. I do a lot of kitchen magic. I have baked bread with poppy seeds and green food dye for wealth. I make elderberry syrup for the cold season as well. All in all, I just love working with them. When my fiance and I get our own place I have plans for an herb garden, along with a regular garden. We are going to get a small greenhouse so I can keep them year-round and not need to worry about my cats... they love to eat my plants, or even knock them down.
