similar to my last suggestion but for the forums, i think that when you are the OP of a thread, you should get a ping when someone responds to it, no matter if they actually @ you or not. i think a button to ‘ignore’ your thread would be a good idea too, so people can make threads, get the pings they want, and then stop getting pings on it when theyre done.
big support! dappervolk does a system like that where you can subscribe to threads, both your own and ones owned by others. i think that would be a big QOL change that would benefit forum-goers

Yes! And I personally would love a thread subscription system like flight rising has, where you can subscribe and get notifications to any thread that interests you.
god please, because i think pings have broken on me a few times, and i've missed pings from people misspelling my un, and in general this is a super good feature for forums in general to have!!
Support! It would mean I don't have to check my threads constantly to see if someone replied or not. It would also help thread owners who have easily misspelled names.
