Is there anywhere to go to see which companions can be obtained from where / does anyone know what the color of the pawprint on their thumbnail indicates?

The colors indicate item rarities, not only on companions but all items!
It does not indicate where they are available, with the exception being the orange ones - orange items were available through the kickstarter.

Most companions are available from the mole market, others from the arena shop or weekly shops, a few specific ones are available through campaign encounters, though these only unlock with certain high profession levels. And 4 will be rewarded to you while playing each pack's campaign, though these are also available in the mole market.

I don't think there's an exhaustive list somewhere yet!

I totally agree. A list of where they can all be found, or how to obtain, would really be helpful. 2 of my favorites are Brother Perth and Tavon -the deer. How do you get those? The list of all of them is great, but would be even more helpful if it showed how or where or when to find or purchase them.

Perth & Tavon are not currently obtainable afaik.
Edit: Hah, nevermind, they are. :'D They weren't in EA, sorry about the confusion!!

As for your suggestion - please take it to the suggestions forums, so it might have a chance to become a thing!

I don’t know if we are talking about the same Brother Tavon (the deer?) but he is in my Mole Market right now for 55,000 pebbles so can be obtained that way. Not sure about Perth though.

Another Edit: They were not available indeed until very recently, haha. Anyway, good to know they are now!
