Hello and welcome to Threaded Mysteries, my Custom Apparel (CA) shop. I will be putting up any and all CAs I make here alongside updates on apparel progress. In general, my goal is to get an apparel piece on most, if not all, breeds before release. However, things happen and you will likely find that some apparel will not meet the usual criteria for release that I try to uphold. Usually these will be Designer (commissioned) CAs, but that may not always be the case. Without further adieu, enjoy your browsing and do feel free to come back any time!

General Information

Please be thorough in reading the general information listed below. It may clarify any questions you may have without needing to ask them.

• Prices for public sales are based on the apparel complexity and coverage. I have base prices which I abide by, though some exceptions may be made. My CAs, however, do not go below 30ms.
• If you would like to get a Designer (commissioned) CA, please see my Designer CAs and Sponsors section for full information.
• Pebbles are sometimes accepted in place of moonstones, but this is very rare. If you're curious, just ask. The worst I can say is no!
• Payment for preorders may be due prior to submission to cover CAT costs. Please be ready when pinged! You will receive your CA via private message once accepted.
• I will not take preorder slots for myself unless no one claims a slot before submission.
• I usually offer different types of recolor options for those who don't like what is presently available, but you're free to make a suggestion. There's no guarantee I will go through with that particular recolor, however. Please see my Designer CAs and Sponsors section for full information.
• Feel free to let me know of any art errors so I may correct them. Doing multiple poses and breeds can make it easier to miss things.
• You can ask me for previews on wolves! Be mindful that it won't include other apparel on your wolf unless I can easily place it on top.
• My private messages are open if you have any questions or concerns!

Types

Types of CAs

• Active: CAs which are currently available, in stock, and/or still stocking.
• Shelved: CAs which are currently available but not actively stocking. If enough interest is generated to restock, the CA will be restocked.
• Preorder: CAs which are usually freshly finished and have not yet ever been submitted. They're usually 5-10 moonstones cheaper than normal (depends on price) and may require up front payment to pay for the Custom Apparel Token (CAT). Not all CAs go up for preorder.
• Retired: Also known as hard retired and soft retired. These are CAs which are not usually restocked, but some are only available at certain times of the year (usually New Years). These CAs are not often re-released, if at all.
• Limited: CAs which will only have a certain amount released before they retire, usually permanently.

This post is where you can view active, preorder, and shelved CAs. All are listed with their prices, so please read carefully! You can ask to be on a preorder run, but please limit yourself to one slot unless there is an open one at the end for an extended period of time. I only ask this due to there being only five preorder slots so I can give others a chance to get a preorder in for themselves too.

There are currently no shelved CAs.

I try to offer multiple options for Designer CAs (DCAs) and Sponsors to allow you to go with whatever fits your personal image best. Generally I do ask for an artist's copy for every 5 as a personal, physical record, but this isn't a requirement. In any case, let's get to it!

Designer CAs

DCAs are apparel items which were commissioned by another player. These are usually not released to the public at all but, sometimes, a commissioner may sell their DCA at a later date or decide to let all extra copies be sold to the public as a very limited item.

• Prices are subject to change as seen fit. If you were on my list prior to a change and pricing was already discussed, you pay the price we originally agreed upon instead of the new prices. USD prices are typically cheaper than moonstone prices to give incentive for USD commissions.
• Commissioners are required to pay up front and provide the token for submission. If you wish to not pay for the token or cannot, please see the Public Designers section below!
• DCAs are not available for reprint or recolor without permission from the commissioner. If you want to change this for your own commission at any time, please feel free to contact me. I keep record of who each DCA belongs to in a private document.
• Breed-varied and differing sex commissions are available at an extra charge (see below).
• Turnover can take up to a month depending on how the semester is going.
• You may try to “bribe” me with other CAs or wolves as partial or full payment depending on what it is. Note that I may be very picky on what is and isn't accepted and it may differ depending on what I need.
• Returns and refunds are not accepted for DCAs that have started shading (final process), are completed, or have already been submitted. If a refund is requested during the commission process, you will only be refunded what work hasn't been done.
• To get something commissioned or a quote, please PM me with the necessary details such as what you want, special designs or markings, etc. Be thorough! Don't leave out any details, even if it means a long message.
• I reserve the right to decline a commission if I feel I cannot complete it in the quality I try to achieve.

My DCA prices follow the following price guide.

• Tattoos and Bases: $10 or 120 moonstones
• Minor Apparel Items: $15 or 180 moonstones
• Companions: $20 or 240 moonstones
• Outfits or Backgrounds: $25 or 300 moonstones
• Everything (+Background): $60 or 720 moonstones
• Everything (-Background): $40 or 480 moonstones
• Both Sexes: 25% Commission Cost*
• Another Breed: 50% Commission Cost*

*Extra charge is based on if the DCA can be feasibly copied or altered onto other breeds or sexes, such as a generic dog companion or floating shards. Items which can be copied with no alteration whatsoever may be applied to any additional breed or sex for free.

Please note that all payments are preferred via Paypal for USD commissions, but you can ask about other methods if necessary. Any attempts at chargebacks without my approval will be blacklisted from DCA commissions in the future indefinitely.

Public DCAs

Public DCAs are available for those who wish to not pay for a token or simply cannot. More or less, you don't have to pay for a token at the expense of some of your copies. We both split profits on up to three of the remaining copies. With that in mind, it does mean you can get some of the cost of your DCA back.

1. I keep three of the five copies made to sell. We split the profit on one, one pays for your token, and I keep the third as an artist's copy. You keep two.
2. I keep one of the copies as an artist's copy, you keep your copy, and we split the profit on the remaining three.

Public DCAs will not be restocked unless you request it.

Note: Public DCAs would be sold at higher prices than my usual CAs due to the nature of them being DCAs rather than the usual CA.

Personal Recolors and Sponsors

This section is all about those sweet recolors! An easy way to look at it is a Personal Recolor CA (PRCA) is a recolor specifically for yourself. Sponsors more or less sponsor a recolor to get made for the public with no limitations to me. Do note that neither PRCAs nor Sponsors are for DCAs. DCA alterations are at the original commissioner's request and no one else.

• PRCAs and Sponsors only change the colors. They do not alter the shape, size, or anything else about the CA. Altered CAs follow similar pricing but at a higher cost based on complexity and how much they alter the original item.
• PRCAs and Sponsors cannot be of DCAs or items from someone else's shop (so please don't ask).

Personal Recolors

PRCAs are personal recolors specifically for personal use. They're like DCAs except a simple recolor. PRCAs can be any non-DCA apparel item in this shop whether the item is retired or not. DCA rules apply to PRCAs, though the cost is the difference here. If you wish to do a public recolor or cannot afford a token, please see below.

The following is how PRCAs are priced:

• CA Base Charge: Cost of the original CA + 100ms.
• CAT: The token to submit.

Public PRCAs

Public Recolor Sponsors work exactly like public DCAs, just as a recolor. They remain limited and only print when the commissioner has given permission, and have the same potential benefits.

Sponsors

Sponsors are specifically a form of public designer that falls into its own category.

• Sponsors allow users to pay for a token to get a very specific recolor made for the public.
• There are no restrictions (aside from you getting your copy), but the benefit is the sponsor has a chance to make back the token cost and get their copy from the first run for free should the first run sell out within three months. Should it only sell enough for the token, they only get the token cost returned. That's it!

My private messages are open to any questions or concerns you may have! Sponsors can also include shelved runs of already submitted CAs if you want to take a shot at it working out.

Active & Shelved

Active CAs are currently being sold, and shelved CAs have been sold and can be restocked by request, but are out of stock on the CA market.

Retired & Limited

Limited CAs are those which retire after a printing limit has been reached. Retired CAs will only ever have a chance of being restocked if (1) there is enough interest and (2) it is around the new year when I sometimes do unretirement events for old CAs that people want to see return.

There are currently no retired or limited CAs.

Designers

Designer CAs are CAs which were commissioned by someone else. Sometimes these are public designers at the request of the commissioner, but most will not be reprinted at all unless the commissioner gives their express permission to do so.

You can add yourself to my ping lists manually by clicking the title! To add yourself, just find an empty cell and add your @ name. For instance, mine would be @Lykos. You can do similar to remove your name by clearing a cell with your name in it. Easy!
