My two starter wolves are water-themed, but I also love sky-themed, foresty, and fiery color themes too. :)

Just made my account a few hours ago so I'm exploring the guides and getting my footing here. If you've got any tips or little hints for a new player, I'm all ears.

As for tips? Uuummm... Well, I can say from my own experience, I'd use farming to your advantage. Corn to start with. You can accumulate so much food that way, making it easier to stick with other features of the site like Campaign, Mining, Fishing, Gauntlet, etc. My biggest setback with this site when I first joined was the whole stamina system. But now I am swimming in food from farming, from fishing, and from grinding Campaign to level wolves.

Also, really love your starter wolves. They are both very pretty, especially Ocean.

Welcome to LW! My main tip is that you can - and should! - do the campaigns for all the packs, not just yours! The dialogue makes it sound like you're switching packs, but it doesn't actually switch you, it just opens up all the areas for exploring/grinding :)

Hello, and welcome to Lorwolf! I hope you have a lot of fun here. :D Your starters are lovely; the varying tones of blues for ocean and river-related themes are a splendid choice! If you want, you can go to my hatchery and pick out any three of what I have for sale (excluding the Wild Wolves) for free to help you get started in expanding your pack! (Please note that most of what's available is hidden under expandable / toggle sections, so you'll have to click those to see them all properly!)

• If you want to notify someone that you've replied to them, ping them using the @ symbol in front of their name! If you want to ping someone who has a space in their username, you can ping them via their user ID instead. You can find this number from their profile - for instance, yours is 15211 - so pinging you via the ID would look like @/15211 (without the / in there), otherwise it would look like @/Leeko (again without the / in there)! :D
• If you want to post your wolves in the forums or other places, you can do so with the following code: {Wolf(####)}, but replace the #### with the respective ID of the wolf. You can again find these on their individual pages. For instance, your wolf Ocean has the ID of 599857 - so you use that (without the hashtag). You can also do this for items, using the word Item instead of Wolf, but you have to know the item ID for that. (And note that both must be capitalized to work!) This will not automatically link your wolf, however. It will only post the image, so if you want to also link to your wolf, use the hyperlink function on the code. :D
• If you want to make toggle / expandable sections (like what can be found in my hatchery linked above, for instance), you use the codes "details" and "summary." Basically, you wrap those words in a <> tag. Like <.details><.summary>Title Goes Here<./summary> Information in your section goes here.<./details> (without the dots!) Do note that you need to have the closing tag's slash (/) in order for this to function correctly.
• If you want to link to one of your dens, you can't just go to your den and copy the URL from there, because it won't work for other users. If you want to show a den, you have to go to your profile, click on the den from that page, and then copy the URL from your profile instead. This is how dens show up for other people - from your profile page. Otherwise, they won't be able to see what you're linking to!
