Hello! Just wanted to query what’s going on with the dev updates as the last one we had was in September and I don’t remember seeing anything in the news posts to say that we would no longer be getting these updates.

Also question about the roadmap, this was posted last year and we are now caught up to the end of that roadmap which was December, will we be seeing a new roadmap for the site to advise users on timescales for when to expect content to be released?

One more thing, would it be possible to get more communication overall from the devs? I’ll be honest the lack of communication in general over the last 6 months or so is starting to make me rather concerned about the longevity of this site, the number of users on site is steadily dropping and this is becoming rather noticeable around areas of the site like the marketplace.

Not to say this is a direct result of a lack of communication but without information on future content or monthly updates there’s less and less to keep users engaged with the site and keep the hype for the site going, which will in turn cause users to lose interest.

Hi, it's me— that silly person who's a little too obsessed with green and loves making funny-marking CAs. You all know me. I've been here since beta, following Lorwolf’s development even before that. I still remember the excitement and absolute joy I felt when I first discovered this adorable little pet site. I love everything about it—the creativity, the community, and the friendships I’ve made along the way.

But there’s one major issue that myself, and the few hundred of us who still actively play, just can’t ignore anymore: the complete lack of communication.

We know the devs are still here, working behind the scenes, and we truly appreciate all that you do. But I think I speak for many of us when I say that we’re exhausted by yet another round of the "Great Silence." It’s disheartening to be left in the dark, wondering what’s happening with the game we love.

To the devs, mods, artists, and coders—this isn’t personal. We know you’re doing your jobs, and we’re grateful for your hard work. But please, can we get some communication? Any updates at all? It doesn’t have to be much—just a few sentences a week, or a paragraph a month would make a world of difference. A quick note about site development, upcoming features, or even small fixes would go such a long way in reassuring the community.

Lorwolf is a place I’ve grown to love, and this community means so much to me. It’s incredibly sad to see where things are now, with so many players feeling unheard and disconnected. We understand that life happens, that challenges arise—but please, just talk to us. That’s all we’re asking for.

P.S. Also… no one updated the Mole Market for Valentine’s Day this year. Just saying.

I have been getting a bit worried myself with how quiet things have been. I know Chapter 2 is probably taking up most of the development time, but we have only gotten 1 non-seasonal event update since last June. We used to get monthly patch notes/updates, but that has become nonexistent. I love this site and want it to succeed, but I keep seeing people leave because of how quiet it is. With Valentine's being ignored this year, I am just a little concerned.

If you can only do one large (non-seasonal) update a year I would love to know just so I can set my expectations. I really think a small update every month (even if just simple recolors) would go a long way to keep your userbase engaged.

Definitely agree with many of the sentiments that previous posts have brought up.

I am fully content to wait for however long it takes new items and features to be added, and I understand the effort that goes towards making them a reality, but like...can we have some progress updates, at least? Maybe even some teasers? I get not wanting to spoil any big story stuff, but not showing off anything at all just kills the hype tbh.

Hello! I agree with much of what has been said.

The remaining players here love this site and our wolves. The lack of communication is really... dividing. It is causing a rift and making people leave. I would love if we could repair the gap between player base and the staff/devs and strengthen that relationship. It would be even cooler to see you guys around outside of the automated posts, maybe some small events (like maybe theme of the week/month and we post our wolves and then the devs pick some to win in the next announcement but it is just for fun/no prizes) that or something to unite us all (asking for a lot -- I know ;v;/ ), or whatever you guys have time to do.


Don't have to do anything I said, but would love to just... have more communication and actually see some of the devs around/active in some capacity.

Adding my support and desire to hear some communication as well. I'd really like to see something like at least a little update widget on the main page where we can see little blurbs, fixes, and updates from the team. Just mini announcements and backend stuff that may not justify a full news post. It would definitely help to keep this place from feeling too quiet and . . . I guess I don't know how to put this lightly, but abandoned?

I agree wholeheartedly with everything that's been posted. I'd love to see more engagement from the devs, but I've personally made peace with the fact that the game we have is the game we have. I've invested money in LW just like a lot of users by a previous monthly membership and occasionally buying premium currency. Not a huge amount, mind you, but enough to be interested in LW's future.

However, this is such a long running issue and posts like this keep coming up that honestly I don't see it changing. For whatever reason, for better or worse, this is the way it is. No shade, no criticism, just acknowledgement.

I now concentrate on playing solo, don't expect anything to happen, and enjoy what's here. Sometimes I take a break until I'm interested again and come back. If there's an update or new content, that's a bonus. :)
