So, I was wondering if you post a CA with one base, would you later be able to add a different base on the same apparel?

No, you wouldn't - if you want to add another base, then you'd have to entirely resubmit it.

Adding onto that, we're supposedly getting that as a feature eventually, I'd guess when chapter 2 comes out since we're apparently getting the option of puppy ca then.
